Create A Blog To Suit Your Needs

No matter what kind of business you’re in, you’re probably going to want to set up a blog to help you in your marketing efforts There are three common types of blog, and each one has it’s own list of pro’s and cons. Picking the right one to suit your needs can make all the difference between success, and failure.

Personal Blog

A personal blog doesn’t necessarily have to be about just one specific person, it can refer to a company blog that does nothing but talk about company happenings too. Any blog where a person, or corporate entity talks primarily about the things that are going on with them counts as personal blog. Personal blogs aren’t good for monetizing – they’re mostly good for drawing attention to you or your company, and keeping your audience engaged. You might be able to draw in some traffic with a personal blog, and that might turn into some revenue, but don’t necessarily count on it.

Niche Blog

A niche blog is any blog that covers a specific topic, or set of topics. A niche blog is a great way to draw in readers that are interested in whatever topic you’re covering. In addition to drawing traffic to your site, you can also make some money through ad revenue. If your visitors are interested in your content, they might be interested in products related to that content, and that means you might be able to bring in some money through ads.
